The developed countries view e-commerce as a vehicle for opening up developing-country markets. When the WTO was established in 1995, developing countries were assured that they would stand to gain from the liberalisation of trade carried out under its aegis. No such benefits have accrued and there is no reason to believe the introduction of e-commerce into the WTO, which will only enhance the process of liberalisation, will be beneficial to the developing countries.En ligne : https://www.twn.my/title2/resurgence/2017/319-320.htm WTO : The question of e-commerce [texte imprimé] / Chakravarthi Raghavan, Auteur . - [S.l.] : Third World Network, Aug/Sept 2017 . - p. 15-45. - (Third World Resurgence; 324-325) .
