| Résumé : |
In recent years, British people have expressed their strong support for more government aid for the world's poorest countries. In 1992, for example, it was concerned citizens and Members of Parliament who suceeded in Britain's aid to the Third World. Poll after poll has shown that people support overseas aid because they assume it helps improve the lives of the poorest people. The Government has never provided convincing evidence to show to what extent British aid is improving the lives of the world's poorest people. |
